Of course I know who you are, Heather! I remember Steve telling us about your accident and all the prayers we prayed for you as a family that year. I think Mark even cancelled a rafting trip that year so he could contribute to your expenses. (don't tell him I told) You have been an inspiration to me. I love YOUR blogs and your spirit. Love, Rosemary

Heather,

I was wondering what do you think of the man who was paralyzed in a deer stand fall and chose to be taken off life support, even with a baby on the way?

Hi Heather, I've been reading your blog for a few months, but not in the last month. I was a bit surprised to find that you had surgery. I hope that you are feeling a lot better by now and hope to read another update soon, whenever you are feeling well enough to write. I am praying for you. Love, Linda Lung, from Fresno, CA.

Thank you for your wonderful explanation of how one goes to the bathroom. My girlfriend's son was in a fall from a roof accident almost 2 years ago, and I knew, kindof, how he did this, but now I know so much better.
I will check back with your posts, and also put my email on your list. You are doing some great work! JD Southard

Hi Heather, wonderful blog, count me as one of those you mentioned in your "happiness" post who can't seem to stay positive despite never really having to even remotely go through what you have endured. I'm going to try and follow your advice re: being thankful, seeking answers from God etc. I'm from Canada and was wondering if you have a post about all the people who have contracted you from around the world. Thanks again for your blog Heather, I know it sounds sexist but you really do sound like a sweet girl. Mark from Niagara Falls, Canada.

Hi, would you consider dating a guy with SCI? there are dating websites for people with disabilities. I just thought i would give you this idea because 80% of people with SCI are men so chances are good of finding love. Good Luck. kara

Hi Heather! Love all your posts, I check in at least every two weeks just to see your posts, you are such an inspirational woman and I think of you sometimes when I whine to myself about the challenges of everyday life. I think, How can I be complaining, when someone who could be so angry, is bursting with energy, motivation, and joy? You teach people so much, I hope you know that. You help me and others put things into perspective; thanks for giving people a glimpse into the life of someone who has faced so much more than most of us will have to. You also really have a gift with your writing style, hope you will keep writing :) Hope you are enjoying your summer. :)

Hi Heather,
I love checking in with your blog and I know you must have heard this a million times now, but you are a true inspiration. You have every reason in the world to be bitter, depressed and angry and you're just the opposite. Are you on Instagram by any chance? Much love from the UK <3 :)
