I've been wanting to try sushi for some time since the only time I've ever had it was years ago when we made it with my sister Sharon. I didn't like it at the time (the sushi we made didn't have raw fish in it, just vegetables) so I wanted to try it again to see if I would like it made with raw fish. I asked my sister Laura to bring some over. I was a bit skeptical, but I went into it with an open mind. I didn't like it. It wasn't horrible or anything, but it wasn't that good, either. My sister Laura urged me to not completely give up on sushi since there are lots of different kinds. I look forward to trying more kinds of sushi in the future and hopefully I'll find some that I like.
i only like salmon and really fresh tuna...some of it like at Target...is so fishy. Tastes like it smells...like feeding the seals or something...have a good day!
ReplyDelete(good for u to want to try it)
We LOVE sushi. My faves are the avocado, California, and shrimp tempura, but I like it all as long as it's from a good place. Sushi from the grocery store doesn't count!
ReplyDeleteSushi!!!!! My absolute favorite food! I agree with Jamie - grocery store sushi does not count! We have a fabulous place about 30 minutes away and it's worth the drive. Great, now my mouth is watering!
ReplyDeleteI love sushi!! I miss it while I am pregnant - I can still have veggie ones, but it isn't the same. Keep trying it!
ReplyDeleteCan't understand why people like sushi. Maybe we are sophisticated enough here in Utah to enjoy raw fish. Yuck!
