Lesson from a Bumblebee

March began last Thursday, so I had my mom flip my Mary Engelbreit calendar from February to March. This is the picture for March, and I just love the quote on it by Mary Kay Ash that says, "Aerodynamically, the bumblebee shouldn't be able to fly, but the bumblebee doesn't know that, so it goes on flying anyway."
Isn't that great?! That simple statement is really a lesson for all of us to live by. We all face rocky paths or stormy seas at one point or another in our lives, and it would be so easy to throw in the towel and give up, but DON'T DO IT! Hang in there and keep plugging along because you will be so proud of yourself if you do, and so disappointed in yourself if you don't!!

I know I've said it before, but I'll say it again, I love, love, love Mary Engelbreit! Her artwork is so colorful and pretty; it makes me happy just looking at it! Don't you agree?!

  1. I do love Mary Engelbreit. It is bright and definitely brightens ones day. It's especially cheery today with all of the rain and wind we are having outside.
