The Easter bunny

One thing I love about spring is watching the grass green up. It starts out such a drab color of green and gets so green by the month of April. We have a large patch of clover in our front yard and we have a little bunny that loves to come and sit in the clover patch every morning and munch on the clover. (I never knew that rabbits liked to eat clover.)

At first the bunny was quite shy and  timid and his little ears would prick up at the smallest noise or movement, but over the past few weeks he's got more and more comfortable with us and he doesn't run away, even when we open the front door and walk outside.

I knew that I wanted to write a blog post about our little Easter bunny, so I asked my mom to take a picture of him. She's been playing paparazzi and has been stalking him  for several days. She's been able to get closer and closer to him over the past several days, and last Saturday she got within 6 feet of him before he ran away. It's been so fun to watch our little visitor. Here are a few pictures:

The bottom two pictures were taken on Saturday and it had been raining quite heavily. The poor little bunny still came out to eat the clover even though it was really soggy.
