Gas is sure expensive these days! I mean really expensive!

I thought gas was expensive when I was still a driving girl back in 2003, but if gas cost now what it did in 2003, we would all think we were getting gas for a steal! (I remember usually paying between $1.40 and $1.50 for a gallon of gas.)

There was one time that gas suddenly jumped up to $1.75 and I remember someone calling into the radio station I was listening to on my drive to work and they asked if there had been some sort of terrorist attack or natural disaster. (They mentioned how there was a sudden spike in the price of gas after the attacks on 9/11.)

In 2003 I wonder what we would've thought if we knew what was in store in regards to the price of gas. I personally don't know what I would've done if you would've told me that in a few short years from that time that the price of gas would be about $4 a gallon. I just hope that 5+ years from now that gas isn't going to be $6, $7 or even $8 dollars a gallon. If so, it's going to be too expensive to do anything if we have to drive!
